WIC Breastfeeding Buddy Program Toolkit

The goal of this toolkit is to use lessons learned from the pilot program to inform interested WIC agencies and their staff about how to implement and sustain the Buddy Program as part of the WIC Breastfeeding Support Campaign.

Buddy Program Toolkit

The Buddy Program Toolkit was generated as part of the WIC Breastfeeding Support Campaign, which was implemented and evaluated by the University of Nevada, Reno in association with the US Department of Agriculture's Food and Nutrition Services and seven pilot State and Tribal WIC agencies. The Toolkit has been informed by the Campaign's Buddy Program Satisfaction Survey, which was administered to Buddy Program participants every three months or upon exit between August 2020 and August 2021.
